I Need Your Opinion (and sneek peek at my produce bags!)

I'm in the process of sewing all my produce bags, and I have a dilemma.  I'm not sure how to finish the sides.  I like them both ways, so I'm putting it out to you!  So here they are:

Do you like the sides tucked in (more finished look) or left out (more color)?

Full size comparison (these are the small bags for garlic, shallots, ginger, jalapenos or other small fruits or veggies)

Edge In with a large head of garlic

Edge out with the same large head of garlic

Please let me know which you like best (or anything else you like/dislike about them) by leaving a comment!

I think they both look great! What a great idea!

At first I thought I liked the out look, but when I saw the garlic in there... I liked the sewn in look.
May I ask, what is the purpose of these?

funny, i have the same comment as above. liked them edge out when empty but think it looked better edge in with something in it, and i, too, was wondering what they're for. Just storage or do they serve a freshness purpose?

I like the edge in.

The are putting your produce in at the grocery store so you don't have to use their plastic bags. It has also helps air the veggies that tend to get water logged in the plastic bags. I'm making them in 3 sizes and will be selling them on Etsy.

Edge in! These are cool.

Agree, edge in looks better with the garlic inside. Of course, you could always make both kinds... They look great!

Both look good, but I like them edge in - with the produce in the bag it looks like you get just as much color from the colored threads, and a more finished look as well as a more pleasant shape with the edges being a little more rounded :) They look great! Good luck!
